Editing tables

To edit data tables, select a data table from the drop-down box on the Database Menu and click on the “Modify Selected Table” button.

You should notice that all of your field names have been converted to uppercase, and that three additional fields have been added. These three fields are included in each data table created in or imported into the Pro Edition.

PRIKEY: This field is responsible for automatically numbering record data as it is entered with a unique ID. This number is then used to help identify the records.

AUTO_IMAGE: In the case of membership, or club-based websites, this field can be used to contain the path to images associated with individual records.

AUTO_SECURITY_AUTH: This field is used by the Pro Edition to authenticate users from data tables, and import them into an existing Secure Users. For more information on authenticating users from data tables, see Secure Users.

Modifying/Renaming Tables

You may also add fields to and rename your database tables by using the features at the bottom of the Modify Selected Table menu.
